The James Bond Film Discussion Thread (With Bonus Lazenby!)

I saw a fun fan theory about Zorin, May Day and Jenny Flex from AVTAK. Zorin, who was also operating from France circa 1979, was a supplier of computer tech to Hugo Drax for his space station and fleet of shuttles and May Day and Jenny were part of Drax's cadre of athletic girls trained at Hugo's vast estate.

After Drax's death all three fell into league with one another and went out on their own criminal endeavors. Works for me for the most part.

At least as plausible as Spectre’s retcon of the previous 3 films immediately preceding it.

...I was today years old when I realized it's called A View to a Kill and not A View to Kill like I always seemed to think.

Goes to show I don't think I've ever seen that one.

Funny enough, the original Ian Fleming short story, which the movie only took the title from, was titled From a View to a Kill. I don't think they ever messed with any other Fleming titles like that.

Which is interesting, because I always called it 'From' A View to a Kill, thanks in part to the Duran Duran song, where they add 'From' to the lyrics.
