I really don’t want Cavill, as he seems such a safe, predictable choice. But I was saying exactly the same about Brosnan in 1994 and I ended up loving him from day one. And they probably do need to go down the Goldeneye type route with the next movie.
Were this 20 years ago I'd say Clive Owen. But that ship's long since sailed.
I would rather just ignore people who say things like that considering that it's absolute bullshit, and the people saying that shouldn't be given the attention they so desperately crave. Amy Pascal's name is only attached to the three Venom movies, which were the only financially successful ones, but even those movies were mostly Avi Arad's babies. She had no involvement whatsoever with Morbius, Madam Webb or Kraven. Just more pathetic whiny cry baby fanboy whining over anyone lacking a penis being involved in their storytelling.I saw a comment on x that said:

Most of these movies were in the planning stages at the time of TASM Films. I know they were in the plans that were leaked when Sony was hacked. So, the planning of these movies dates back to when this woman was at the helm of Sony. Yes, among these movies, the only female name was only mentioned in the Venom movies. However, this woman In a 2019 interview with Kevin Feige for Far From Home. Venom talked about plans to include the MCU in the films. but even Kevin Fegie himself did not know about these plans. But what happened in the end, nothing like that happened. Anyway, this is not a Spider-Man movie title.
