The Immunity Syndrome Line-by-Line

Hello, Welcome!

We recently completed Broken Bow Line-by-Line- thread in the ENT forum!

For any unfamiliar with our "game," you are asked to post only a single line (defined as one character speaking without interruption by another character) per message. You can post as often as you like, but someone else must post a line in between your posts.

Our "rule" is that if the episode has a "To Be Continued..." on the end, it is done in a single thread, but if it's just an arc of related episodes (like the Dominion Occupation Arc on DS9 or the Xindi Arc on ENT), each episode is a separate thread.

Get ready for a story, here we go!

KIRK: Captain's log, stardate 4307.1. Approaching Starbase 6 for a much needed period of rest and recreation.

[Bridge]

KIRK: The crew has performed excellently, but is exhausted. And I, too, am looking forward to a nice period of rest on some lovely planet.

 

[Kertrats47]

UHURA: Captain, there was a message from Starbase 6. Heavy interference. All I get is "Intrepid" and what sounded like a sector coordinate.

 

[May 20]

Um...are we in the wrong forum?

SPOCK: Interesting. No indications of magnetic storms in this sector.

 

[Orac]

^ Yes.

Kirk: Try another channel, Lieutenant.

 

[May 20]

UHURA: Aye, sir.

 

[Orac]

Bones: The Intrepid is manned by Vulcans, isn't it?

 

[May 20]

KIRK: Yes, that's right, Bones.

UHURA: Enterprise calling Starbase Six. Enterprise calling Starbase Six. Come in. Come in.
(Spock suddenly jerks upright, his face a picture of horror.)

 

[May 20]

KIRK: Spock?

 

[Hopeful Romantic]

MCCOY: What is it, Spock? Are you in pain?

SPOCK: Captain, the Intrepid. It just died. And the four hundred Vulcans aboard, all dead.

MCCOY: Come on, Spock, let's go down to Sickbay.

[Orac]

Spock: Doctor, I know what I know.

 

[LeadHead]

Kirk: Get to the sickbay.

 

[May 20]

SPOCK: Captain.

 

[Orac]

Kirk: No, no, no. That's an order.

 

[May 20]

SPOCK: Yes, sir.
(McCoy leads him away.)

 

[LeadHead]

Chekov takes over at the Science station.

Uhura: Captain, I have Starbase 6 readable now.

 

[sekundant]

KIRK: Kirk here. Go ahead.
