The Hungy Earth/Cold Blood are Terrible, Terrible Episodes

I liked this episode, though it isn't the strongest of the season. The project leader made a better companion for the episode than Amy. I just about would prefer her over Amy Pond. While Matt and Karen act off each other well, I am starting to think it is more due to him. In scenes where Karen is in groups she just fades away among the other actors and doesn't project much of a presence in a group. I hope she works to improve that in the next series.

One cannot "dissect" someone alive. One vivisects someone who is alive.

Yes one most certainly can, as vivisection is a subtype of dissection.

I'll give you some slack if you also say things like "One does not drive a car, one drives a sedan, or a coupe" or "One does not drink wine, one drinks cabernet sauvignon, or merlot, or shiraz..."

The Silurian two parter was a bad copy of the original Silurian storyline but at least this time the story wasn't let down by production standards.

I thought it was lukewarm. It wasn't great, but it did the job of being mostly watchable. It kinda reminded me of the Sontaran episode, which was much the same way. I actually thought this one was less annoying than that one. Really not worth getting upset over. I'd watch it for its importance in the chronology of the season, but probably not much else.
