Going to my parents' home today to make Christmas cookies!! This is a tradition that reminds me of my grandmother and makes me so happy. Jam thumbprints, sugar cookies, sugared almonds, pizzelles...

We have so many cookies now. Wayyyy too many. We made the jam thumbprints and sugared almonds, my mom had already made the sugar cookies, my sister made pizzelles, we also made peanut butter blossoms and ginger cookies. I think six types of Christmas treats are adequate, yes?

Getting together later tonight with family & friends for our annual Xmas Eve gathering that I missed in 2019 due to work and all of us missed last year thanks to Covid. Thus, I haven't seen some of them in two years so I'm really looking forward to it.

We have petit fours and a chocolate Yule log from my mother-in-law. Tonight, we watch Scrooged. Tomorrow, It's A Wonderful Life, which is 75 this year. I'm going to find the 1966 How the Grinch Stole Christmas right now.
