I just got back from spending 2 weeks with my Parents, specifically taking care of my mom who had knee surgery that did not go well this year. She's in a better place now than earlier in the year but she's still confined to a wheel chair.
I don't think I'm spending my Christmas with them though. We spent Thanksgiving with them but I've been up there a lot and don't really feel like traveling again. It might just be like last year, where it will be my Brother and I. I'm not upset though, as I've started to realize I can do without this big Christmas get together. I will call them though. I'm pretty much done with my Christmas Shopping, even though I am looking for something to give to my Brother next week for his birthday.
I realized tonight though that I'm not really a fan of this time of year. The days are short, it's cold, and I just miss the longer days of May, June, and July.

Naughty there has a nice stack of gifts. I guess Mae West was right when she said, "When I'm good, I'm good. When I'm bad, I'm best."
My sister's office--she's a hospital librarian. Skelly gets in on every holiday.
He's a busy guy. Lots of Christmas parties to attend, you know!

I am so addicted to this show now. I found a YT page that has most of the more recent episodes, and I've been really enjoying them. I'd love to see something like that in the US, but I have a feeling it would lose the charm.
I, too, am a HUGE fan of this show. Been watching it for years. It was on BBCAmerica, then Britbox and now YT. Can't get enough of it!

What do you think of Sandi? I adore her, and find her to be hilarious and fun. I love the constant needling of Alan, and then when we get Bill Bailey and Alan on the same panel, it's glorious chaos, and I love it so much.
