I think it's really good. They're in their second season, I believe. It's about the wife of a DA who has to go back to work in her forties after her husband's affair gets tied up with an underling's powerplay and lands him in jail for witness tampering and other criminal activities related to throwing cases.
All the actors on it are good, though the kids are irritating in their TV kid-ness. The focus is on the wife working at a struggling law firm with a B plot of the husband fighting the charges against him and C plot of them both trying to keep the family stable for the kids.
It's a lawyer show, so similar to most of those, I guess, but not like Boston Legal where every case was the most ridiculous topic played out in the most melodramatic, change the world kind of way (I liked BL, this just isn't that show).
Blows The Whole Truth right out of the water. Not that that would be difficult.
So, I guess you've got the older mom competing with younger lawyers, the struggling law firm with backroom machinations, the kids and mother-in-law scheming to stop a divorce, the husband trying to get out of prison on appeal and get his job and family back, the ADA and his cronies moving in the background to keep him in prison and secure the DA's post, and the 1-2 cases that pop up each episode.
If you're going to watch, you should do so from the beginning.
