I think that they were reacting to the ceremonial position that Kahless would take, but they decided that Kaiser was too powerful to be an accurate description, so they chose the alternative (the word that describes having absolute authority in one's person).I won't even BEGIN to understand what was going on in the minds of those who translated the shows.![]()

The only German dub that ever worked was for the Bud Spencer/ Bud Spencer and Terrence Hill movies, always more fun and with extra dialog than the original.
