Nice to see John Wesley Shipp in the season premiere. Been a few years since that has happened. Sure earlier trailers showed Jay’s helmet. But I was worried they might just use it as a prop with Jay off camera.

Fan speculation is Michelle Harrison is playing Nora’s doppelgänger on Earth 3. In the comics Jay’s wife is named Joan.

I like this season's costume better than last season's. I'm glad they put the chinstrap back. I'm guessing they're trying to approximate the costume from the future-newspaper photo, now that the Crisis is happening.

I guess we can surmise that Shipp is playing Jay again, since Jay's costume appears. I still hope we haven't seen the last of Barry-90, though. He has unfinished business with the Monitor.

I know it was just a few lines but Joe West sounds a lot better than he did last year. I hope that means Jesse L Martin is doing better. He was prob still either in pain or on painkillers for his back during last season and he didn't sound right.

I'm wondering if we could be seeing Killer Frost take over as the dominant personality, I noticed in the trailer it looked like we only saw Caitlin a couple times, and the description of the premiere mentions a change in their relationship.

I hope so. You could tell Panabaker was starting to get bored last year, and I don't blame her. Outside of the few Frost family drama episodes, Catlin has been running on auto-pilot for a few seasons now.

One that threatens to destroy ALL of Central City... Really? Isn't that like already a thing that happens like almost every season? Every week? Like when isn't ALL of Central City threatened with destruction?
