Spoilers The Flash - Season 4

Can Barry now retain speed-read information indefinitely? Cisco gave Barry speeded-up DVR'd television to consume, but I'm not sure why that would make sense if Barry is going to forget all that television within 24 hours or so. Is he making notes for things to watch in normal mode?

It was Thea's first! THEN Oliver's! THEN Felicity's! And I guess that's one way to use a set that probably wasn't being filmed in that week - though the $10M house we see later on is a regular fixture in Vancouver-produced shows, so I'm sure we'll be seeing THAT again too.

I like the casual crossover cameos so far this season. It doesn't take that much effort and it's neat to acknowledge that there are three shows sharing the same universe. Sure, Nick Heywood is moonlighting on Team Kid Flash and Oliver's second outing is newsworthy in Central City, and that's all we need to know about it - tune into that show for the details. Likewise, in Legends this week they had the time storm of last season's finale on the news in Nick and Amaya's place, and the only thing out of place is why they didn't / couldn't run out and help if they'd been around to see it.

I loved the couples counselling scenes and how it exposed the real cause of the problem. It's cliche and a little trite, but something we haven't seen in The Flash and it was fun to see it done with these characters. How much better would Ollicity and Monara and, let's say, Jaxtein be on their respective shows if they had an objective third party to talk to?

I figure what we were seeing on the news wasn't a live feed, but B-roll for a story about the aftermath or the investigation after the fact. After all, they cut from it to a story about someone getting phone video of Vixen in Detroit. If it had been live coverage of a current event, they wouldn't have cut away for something so minor. So the scene was probably set a few days or weeks after the season finale.

By the same token, the LoT premiere last week must've been set before the Flash premiere, despite airing later. Otherwise Steel would've been available to help Team Fl -- Ki -- Vibe, and they wouldn't have been "a man down." Indeed, maybe Nate's recent departure was a factor in why they felt shorthanded.

I liked the episode but I wonder if it was trying too hard to be silly. If they are going for fun they need to strike the right balance. Some of the stuff with Berry felt a little out of character.

I really liked Cisco and Gypsy’s storyline though. I hope Wells comes back soon.

Looks as though the CWTV.com player has been streamlined and improved, as it seemed to run much more smoothly than the old one did. Sweet!

... Aaaand, Joe calls the particle accelerator explosion Wells' (not Thawne's) doing again. ARGGGGHHHH.

- "Do you know how hard it's been having to cover for your absence to our friends?" Nice try, Iris! I've seen the whole series thus far, and none of you have friends outside Team Flash/Arrow. Even Cisco can't be bothered to get reservations at a nice restaurant outside the building for a big date.

- I was hoping the counselor would learn all about Barry's true work and Team Flash. She'd be legally bound to keep it to herself, right? Or, maybe just professionally obligated? (Six of one, half-dozen of the other?)

- Holy hell, was Wally useless in that finale, despite not having a hackable suit. Can we please put him on a bus to another city now?! The show is called The Flash, not The Flashes or even Team Flash, for Pete's sake. Talk about a character all revved up with no place to go.

^ If you were to tell me an explosion can either level my city and kill me tomorrow or in eight or so years, I'd take the latter, thanks... ;)

^ Also: Wells didn't mean to kill a lot of people; Thawne did. The point is their constant disrespecting of Wells the murder victim.

Just one session with Oliver Quinn and I think the therapist would need therapy!

Oliver Queen's story might give that therapist nightmares, but Sara Lance's story would drive her over the edge faster than Barry could exclaim, "Say whaaaatttt?"

Hmm Wally is leaving Central City, we recently learned Bruce Wayne and Gotham exist in the Arrowverse ..

A Titans series is coming soon to a new DC streaming service with Dick Grayson as one of the characters...

Total coincidence of timing or deliberate planning?

This season has had more lighthearted episodes. I didn't really care for the science aspect of it. Does quantum entanglement really have anything to do with luck, or vice versa? If Keiynan Lonsdale is leaving the show, then that was one boring sendoff. I think he has established himself well as Kid Flash, who has proved to be an invaluable member of the team. He will be missed.
