Spoilers The Flash - Season 4

Is it me or was Katee Sackhoff really, REALLY trying to channel Missy from Doctor Who this week?

There was also a #feminism Doctor Who line in the episode. Coincidence?

Mark

Its not snark, its a plain statement of fact. I have shows I need to watch, aka a backlog. I refuse to watch anything with fake Ralph Dibny (I deleted this week's episode when I saw him show up at Barry's house, and as a quick aside RALPH DIBNY DOESN'T GO TO STRIP CLUBS) so now I know I don't have to make time for The Flash next week. I might actually have to just drop the show if this insulting pile of crap keeps showing up, which would mean the entire CWDC universe is unwatchable, which I hope doesn't happen. I likeThe Flash when it isn't giving the middle finger to classic DC characters.
You're the only one here who cares.

Either you're a liar, or you have a terrible sense of priorities, because you could be watching those shows instead of telling people here (who don't give a shit) that you hate the Flash.

Which is it?

Or could it be option 3? Rhymes with doll.

Or maybe I generally like the fucking show and am trying to give it every chance? I like Barry, Cisco, caitlyn, Harry, Joe and kind of like Iris. I want to keep watching, just not episodes with the giant middle finger that is fake ralph Dibny. If you don't like my posts, please either scroll past them or, you know, choose the option where you literally don't have to see them if someone with a differing opinion is such a big issue for you. Also, speaking against the common opinion isn't trolling, which I have legitimately never done.

You're the only one here who cares.

Well, good thing this is a public forum for people to say their opinions, and not a private one where you get to decide who posts and what they post. Really, I'm not posting my opinion because I give a fuck if some random internet person cares about what I think. Its a discussion forum. If certain people want a "everyone agrees with my opinion" forum, there are probably options for that.

Well, that sure as hell is worse then anything I ever accused him of. If true, I hope he suffers the consequences of his actions (and I say that as a normal human being, not as a rage filled fan boy or anything). You really can't turn around without someone new being revealed as (possibly) a horrible person. But, its good that we seem to be in a trend right now of bad people getting revealed.

It's kind of weird that this story broke right after Kirk55555 started complaining about Kreisberg purposely messing with the Dibny character.

Note to self: don't get on Kirk55555's bad side.

Post Kirk ergo propter Kirk?

Nahhh... If that were true, then the staffers of virtually every genre show would be getting in massive trouble all the time.

Found last week's ep a mixed bag - the partying was much more engaging than the rote and generic meta-crime plot. Would have much preferred to see both groups with other male/female friends who've presumably been just off-screen the whole time, as the insularity of this particular Team is getting kinda icky.

I remember one of them had a birthday a while back... And there were dozens of people we have never seen before and we've yet never seen again.

Oh, and how expensive is the ice gun cgi, that Felicity couldn't let it rip?

Actually it makes sense they might not have many friends outside of work. What they are doing has to stay a secret. You can't let everyone know who the Flash is or what your role is in his solving crimes. If you have to lie to people it's hard to be open with them about things going on in your life. I would even like to see a ep where a old friend confronts one of the characters, maybe even kind of angry about how he/she has stopped being friends with them and they don't even know why it happened. You also got the angle of the more friends you have the more targets the villians will have which has been a superhero staple when it comes to having a secret identity.

Plus, keep in mind that both Iris and Cecile were originally civilian friends/love interests of Team Flash members, and they were brought into the circle of confidence when they became close enough to be entrusted with the secret (or found out on their own, as I think was the case with Iris). Iris has only formally been a full-time member of Team Flash, as opposed to an ally, since Barry went into the Speed Force 8 months ago. (Seriously, does she still have her reporter job at all? How does she make a living?)

My guess is she is now a full time employee of Star Labs though I wonder what job description she has. Which makes me wonder who exactly runs the building or the business aspect of the place. I thought H.R might have had that job but i'm not sure and if he did I wonder who took over those responsibilities. Of course I also wonder if Harrison Wells is using the holo-image to hide his identity that I think H.R had been using.

How does any of them make a living? Especially if you look at the size of Barry and Iris' apartment, how do they pay for that?
Is it directly next to a metro or train station or something that is occasionally very noisy?

I liked the episode, I like the Killer-Frost story. The whole season is nice so far, Elastoman, I loved it. I found him so silly back when I read Superman comics and so I think it's great that they have him. But maybe only for a few episodes.

Where is Kid Flash? Has Lonsdale another job? Will he return next episode (things go very fast in these shows) or move to Legends?

Joe is cop so that is how gets paid. Barry I think inherited Star Labs from the first Harrison Wells though in theory that wasn't really Harrison Wells so he kind of stole the whole building when you think about it.

But he's young, not too long in the job, never at work, how much can he earn? His apartment is really huge, while his dad lives in this old shabby house, where the water comes through the ceiling (at least in one episode).

When Barry inherited star labs didn't the lawyer say there was shit load of patents and IP that was more a big chunk of cash?

Plus there's what ever Wells/Thawne had stashed away and going by his house he wasn't on poverty row.

Okay, when he inherited Star Labs... though I don't see Star Labs make any money either. That museum failure last year and the energy bills. They obviously try to safe some money with the security. Well, anyway, who cares, he lives there, they are all well paid, everybody lives in a palace on TV. Maybe Cisco sells some stuff occasionally. ;)
