Spoilers The Flash - Season 3

Then the MCU should be littered with Stark like tech, Erskine super soldiers and adamantium laced skeletons.
There is no adamantium in the MCU. ;)

And there is other Stark-like tech and super soliders in the MCU. As seen in Iron Man 2, Winter Soldier, and The Incredible Hulk. They're not littered, but they exist.

And Stark, alien and other advanced technology have gotten into the wrong hands on a street level, as seen in Spider-Man Homecoming. Hell, even Luke Cage had bad guys running around with Hammer Tech.

Agents of SHIELD has done some episodes about alien or Asgardian tech falling into the wrong hands, not to mention the whole season-long Darkhold arc.

It's probably for financial reasons. He's easily atop the whole DCW marquee. I have no way of knowing, of course, but I'd wager he pulls-in more than Martin, Garber, and even Flockhart. And, as I understand it, they'd have to pay him more if he were promoted to regular.

I found this interesting. Here's what Grant Gustin said at Comic Con about how being in the Speed Force will affect Barry when he returns:
"We are not going to necessarily see Barry's experience in the Speed Force, we'll see kind of the effects that the Speed Force has had on Barry. He's been in there 6 months real time but the way I see it, the Speed Force is non linear with time so Barry has experienced kinda his entire life from start to end infinity times over since he's been in there so he's going to have kinda an awakening when he comes out. He's got some knowledge that he probably does not quite understand yet. He'll also be a little scrambled. He won't really be himself the first time we see him."

It will be interesting to see how the writers implement this. The line about having knowledge that he does not understand yet, makes me think that Barry will gradually remember stuff and thus gain a deeper understanding of the Speed Force as the season moves forward and we might see the Flash using the Speed Force in more powerful ways than before. Also, will Barry's new found understanding of the Speed Force make him wiser (ie no foolish time traveling)?

I don't remember which panel said it, but it was confirmed that the CW Crossover this year is another comic story adaptation.

That would be a very bold undertaking on TV, but I would argue that TV is the best place for it, so the story can get the time it deserves. In the end, you could revamp the entire universe, recast if needed, and combine worlds.

Another thing they haven't done much of yet is have more dopplegangers. We've seen a lot of Wells', but how many Barry-Flashes have we seen?

Or multiple Supergirls?

Imagine Powergirl and Kal-L, with the elder Superman being played by Dean Cain? It's almost a shame they cast Cain already.

Or how about a crossover where we have Barry meet the Barry Allen from the 1990 show, played by John Wesley Shipp?

He looks like he walked right out of the pages of the comic books! The last time I felt like that was when Matt Letscher first appeared as Eobard Thawne.

Nice to hear the description playing up his investigative skills. It might be nice if this season played up the police/detective side of the characters more. I mean, Barry's a CSI, Joe's a detective, Iris is a reporter, now they've got Ralph as a PI, and their arch-nemesis this year is an intellectual foe rather than a physical one, a master strategist and schemer. I'd love to see this season be a battle of brains with an emphasis on mystery, although of course in a way that would let them keep up the expected level of big comic-book action.

I assume Barry won't be working with the PD anymore when he returns? he will have been gone around 6 months when he returns according to recent interviews with the cast. I wonder what Joe said to his colleagues & boss to why Barry just left?

Missing and presumed dead after the near-cataclysm that struck the city?
