Spoilers The Flash - Season 3

Conflicted, I don't want Caitlin to go bad, but I really wanna see more of the Killer Frost vs Vibe fight.

It's a fight shown out of context.

How rote is the plotting, if it turns out that the assumption that someone acquiring a power is fated to behave exactly like their doppleganger who had the same power is a reliable one?

That there are differences in the stories of characters as well as similarities is sort of the essence of this alternate Earths thing, ain't it?

It'd be funny if Cisco is the one who goes off the deep end and has to be reined in by Kaitlyn.

H.R. may turn out to be a sacrificial character.

I dunno, I'm warming up to HR.
At first I missed Harry (and the Harry-Crisco dynamic) but I can see potential in HR as well. We'll see how it goes.

Also, I'm pretty sure he's gay which ups his survivability chances because of the diversity factor.

I had the same thought and it would make for a nice twist to see how that came about (and what the conclusion will be).

As i never was a Flash reader all these villains are new to me.. Alchemy seems like a scary dude but Savitar is equally impressing and it seems quite a bit faster than Barry (again a Villain who seems superior to Barry.. i like them so far but please get some new ideas for season 4).

I'm still wondering if the Flashpoint effects are really here to stay.. seems they are as so much is revolving around the after effects. Wally being a Speedster in waiting, Caitlin aquiring the Frost powers, Cisco apparently on the way to full on Vibe (though that may have been his path pre-Flashpoint too).

Next week sure will see some more good stuff happening, they really are stepping up the developments this season, not really a slow buildup and i like it.

Wouldn't be much of a challenge if the villain were inferior to the hero. That's hardly unique to this show.

Whereas I feel that this episode was too cluttered with parallel subplots. That's my problem with modern full-serial storytelling -- every episode has to be telling four or five stories at once, and it dilutes things. I think it would've been better to focus this episode on Wally and Alchemy and the next one on Caitlin's powers being found out by the team, so that each plotline could be given the attention it deserved rather than having to jostle elbows with several others.

You can challenge a speedster plenty of ways other than pitting them against another (superior) speedster. The comics do it all the time. It's even more ridiculous when they keep telling us that Barry is the "fastest man alive." When, so far, he's pretty much the one of the slowest speedsters we've met.

The whole time, I wondered whether if we should be so sure Caitlin was the bad one in that vibe experience or not. It could be far in the future where something happens to Cisco...or the Vibe we saw is a doppelganger.

ComicsAlliance has a theory: The final scene showed that Savitar is apparently invisible to non-speedsters, so what we saw could've been Vibe and Frost both attacking Savitar from opposite directions.

(Not sure what name I should use for a non-evil Killer Frost. Rescuer Frost? Protector Frost?)

Do we know if it's even a "real" fight or training? Also, when Cisco vibes HIMSELF, doesn't he feel it in the first person? This vibe he seemed to observe it rather than experience it. SO I think you're right that it's a But reverb is dead right? So not from Earth 2?
