The Flash - Season 1

No thanks. That fad was done to death years ago. :/
Only the Buffy episode was good.

I enjoyed the Scrubs one.

I did, too. The problem with episodes like a musical one is that it needs a really great reason for happening. Reviving The Music Meister from Batman the Brave and the Bold (there you go, another great musical episode) would be, arguably, the best way to do this. Especially if it's Neil Patrick Harris.

In the meantime (or in exchange), I wouldn't mind more karaoke, like in the episode where Caitlyn and Barry go out to get over their romantic entanglements. It would be a good way for the characters to blow off some steam.

So, clearly Flash and Arrow are not on the same time scale. It makes absolutely no sense for Felicity and Ray to make a visit to Central City considering what's going on in their show right now.

Nice tag at the end. Also a glimpse into Ciscos powers as he can see alternate timelines which is nice. The villain was just ok not really given enough time in the episode. Ray was pretty cool in this one. Poor Eddie, keep the secret or keep the girl.

Yeah, clearly this happened earlier in Arrow's season. Malcolm was still training Thea. Next week Joe and Cisco are going to Starling City. We are going to see even more crossing over towards the end of each shows' seasons. They are going to have to be catching up with each other soon. Arrow's episode production numbers are 1 ahead of what is airing each week on The Flash. Arrow finale is airing 1 week before it as well.

I thought this was one of the strongest episodes yet. All the different plot-lines working together.

I am sure most will be happy that Cisco "remembers" the alternate timeline. But how do you remember something that never happened?? I hope they explain that.

Always happy to see Amanda Pays as Tina McGee again!

I noticed that Kevin Tanchoren (sp) directed the episode -- and his sister is with Agents of Shield? Multiculutralism!!

This was another fun episode.

And YET ANOTHER Superman reference "It's a Bird...it's a plane!"

What have we had so far?..."Man of steel"..."faster than a speeding bullet"... "Cub reporter" (yes, Christopher, is is a Superman reference. I surveyed several journalism professionals...while most heard of the term none of them used it in their workplace. The one person who did use it last heard it 30 years ago)

Oh, and another thing Christopher might disagree with (not trying to bash you man-- just keeping me on mtoes)...i love the line Joe said when Eddie asked "When does my vote mean more than yours?" "When you become her husband!"

I don't see that as treating Iris as property, but rather a challenge to Eddie's commitment to the long & hard times. Sex with a beautiful young woman is easy...but will you be there when you don't get what you want, and instead have to endure pain.

And as a dad, in my case, the boyfriend would need to show commitment like me: my girls were born at 23 1/2 & 26 weeks, 15 1/2 ounces and 1 1/2 pounds. I had to watch them for months be in the NICU, at times on the verge of death, and then for 3 years take them to doctors and therapies so they'd stay on track...and each had some minor (but significant) surgery. And through their stubborness, I still love them, and they know it.

So any guy who thinks they know better for my daughter...i'd ask, where were you in any of those years? What trauma have you walked through with her that makes you so confident you know what's best for her. OK...enough daddy soapbox....

In The New 52, the USA created their own Justice League to counter the real Justice League if in case it ever went bad.

"Vibe" was chosen as the Anti-Flash not because he is a speedster but because his vibrational atunement (seen mostly as destructive blasts) has control over how different dimensions interact with each other and with what they regard as "real-space".

It was believed that he could (with training) block the Flash's access to the speed force.

Vibe can also feel dimension jumpers, and time line jumpers entering his dimension/present (and maybe leaving too?).

And Vibe can also jump timelines/dimensions... To (as an example) Earth 3 where the Crime Syndicate lives, or to Apocalips where Darkseid lives, by a force of will and focus. Dimensions/timelines in the DCU are separated by existing on different/parallel vibrational planes, or at least that's how it's sometimes been explained since the first Flash vs Flash crossover in the 1960s.

:)

If that is his potential powerset, having a crosstime brain that can "remember" the experiences of alt versions of himself does not completely feel to outside Cisco Ramone's wheelhouse, even if he hasn't actually got his Vibe powers yet.

It's possible that Cisco retroactively got some of his powers backwards through time before he did gain them, and this would be them.Wibbly wobbly timey whimey.

Although I'd think that Cisco's conciousness fired off out of him at death or upon the crushing of the time line, rather than that "this" Cisco can just randomly feel the goings on of particularly useful Cisco's more so than all the infinite Cisco's splayed across spacetime.

The Bug Eyed Bandit is from the Atom's Rouge's Gallery.

Except that in the comics he was a dude.

The internet went a little apeshit over this character because the actress was until recently a fan favourite mainstay on The Walking Dead.

The DC Multiverse is all about vibrations, which is the fictional boundary that separates the 52 universes most famously seen in Flash of Two Wolds.

Didn't Barry travel back in time by a day? When he did, he didn't really run back to the future. He just stayed in that timeline. I'm guessing that's why Flash is behind Arrow by one episode.
