The Flash - Season 1

Eobard Thawne is not trying to take over the world.

Commercially or otherwise.

Now while the real Harrison Wells would expand and invent, or head up farms of scientists dedicated towards the invention of many patentable new sciences and widgets, Eobard just wants to build the accelerator, origin the Flash, dose himself with speedforce and then go home.
He's like Sam Beckett, if Sam Beckett was a homicidal maniac.

Then what's the deal with Grodd? And really we've seen outrun Barry, it's alittle odd that he can't return to his timeline, unless he has another agenda now.

He doesn't have the energy stored up to run at the required speed for the required duration to make a time jump.

You always get points for not being selfish, or doing the right thing.

That's how you clock a marriage and level up.

Io9 just did a piece talking about how many members of the Flash and Arrow casts are skilled singers, and a commenter suggested doing a musical crossover episode with Neil Patrick Harris reprising his Batman: The Brave and the Bold role of the Music Meister, the villain who can compel people to sing (and otherwise do his bidding). I say this needs to happen as soon as possible.

Where's are the like button when you need it? :techman::techman::techman:

It's been a long since I've read Crisis On Infinite Earths, but I thought the female Dr. Light work at Japan's STAR labs.

Pre-Crisis, S.T.A.R. Labs was like Starbucks. There seemed to be one in every neighborhood.

But so far Wells' Star Labs in Central City appears to be the only one. Which does not seem to match with the episode of Arrow in which Caitlin and Cisco were introduced last year. They were visiting a Star Labs warehouse in Starling City. The two cities are hundreds of miles apart.

And, yet, they share Iron Heights. Laurel and Oliver went there on a school trip.

I'd say post-Crisis, as well. In the 2004 Firestorm series, Jason Rusch gets a job at S.T.A.R. Labs Detroit, which was in a strip mall. Jason's job there was to help them close out that branch due to budget cuts.

I Want This, NOW!!!

He even sacrificed his reserve to help out Ronnie and Stein.
Pretty sure he mentioned something about "no point going back if there was no Central city left".
It could be that some element of the real Wells was copied over to him or that he was grown somewhat attached to people over the years and hasn't needed a valid reason to murder them. He only killed that version of Cisco because he discovered who he was.

The blonde bloke we saw 14 years ago did seem like aspergers for evil.

But he was probably just in a bad mood.

Bad moods don't last 14 years.

(Shut up. Don't say anything. They're listening.)

Eobard might be a decent human being in his own time with a varied stratification of emotions.

Remember the Time Traveller's Mantra: "You're already dead, you're already dead too, you're all already dead."

It's like repainting your spare room the same colour every weekend.

At some point, it can't get less green.

Eobard sees dead people walking around like regular people.

:(

Of course, after 14 years playing the same part, he could have gone the full Daniel Day Lewis and mellowed the #### out.

I honestly don't know how well it would fit the tone of the shows, but I would love to see a musical crossover.

No thanks. That fad was done to death years ago. :/

Only the Buffy episode was good.

The suit in Wells' museum seem to be changing colors a bit. While i think he is Zoom, could he (or the suits wearer) instead be the red blur at the mother's death?

That's what i think too...with the yellow blue being Kid Flash/Wally West. The Yellow Blue did "save" Barry.

Hmm....could Wells be a future Wally West who's gone off the deep rails a bit.

The funny thing about names, when you show up in a new city, you can use what ever name you want. Especially if you are from another time, right Mr. Wells.

Here's a crazy thought -- Harrison wells is a "real" person who really did lose his wife at his old lab (in NY?). "Professor Zoom" came back, killed the real wells, and had surgery/future magic to make him into Wells, and took over Wells life, giving him plausibility to build StarLabs in Central City.

Hey, the day after my birthday, on Dec. 15 -- i predicted Eobard Thawne taking over the identity of the real Harrison Wells!
