:shifty: I have questions.

1) So Kryptonians can be killed on Earth by a piece of Kryptonian metal? If that's the case why didn't Zod do that to Superman in Man of Steel?
2) Once this was apparent, why didn't anyone try this approach to kill Zod himself?
3) How were the Russians suppressing Kara's powers? Shouldn't she have been in a Kryptonite cage or something? Possibly inspired by Injustice, DCEU Wiki claims she was in a "red solar prison cell", but was there any evidence of this in the film?

1) He didn't want to kill Superman, he wanted him to join them. That Zod still felt bad about killing Jor-El and didn't want to kill his old buddies kid too.
2) Barry in this movie was the only one in the position to do so, and he was more obsessed with saving Kara than killing Zod. Her death was an unchangeable event though, meaning even if he killed Zod something else would kill her. So possibly he DID kill Zod but Kara still died another way.
3) It took little Clark years to build enough Solar energy to gain his powers. Adult Kryptonians get theirs fast because of their matured bodies, but it takes longer for kids. So they kept her locked up since childhood and she never was exposed to enough solar power in the first place.

That was why there was so much focus on her exposing herself to the sun after the Flash, Barry, and Batman saved her.

What's going to be interesting is seeing how Aquaman does, given how much money the first one made.
I think it's going to be a disaster. The test screenings have been very poor apparently. Hope it does well though as a final kick of a dead horse.

It's funny when famous people do what they are famous for in a movie that has nothing to do with their real life...

Although does Arthur sleep on a bed with pillows underwater, and if it happened underwater, surely it would just dissolve and float away?

Conversely the test screenings for "The Flash" were amazing. I'd love to know who they're showing these movies to!

Were the test screening with alternate scenes? Or the actually released movie??

If the latter, then the whole changeover ruined the momentum (plus the glut of movies released within the 2 months surrounding Flash)

I think the tests were with the movie as released, minus the reveal of who joined Barry at the courthouse in the last scene.

Remember when set photos came out and it was Keaton that Ezra was supposed to meet?

But I guess they wanted to nix any further appearance by Keaton Batman

You know what would have been worse? Another setup scene that goes nowhere.

WB would be even more of a laughing stock.

“Oh hahaha. Another cameo that goes nowhere because they’re incompetent “

So was the original plan to have the film end in a timeline where Batman is Michael Keaton, Kara is alive, and Kal-El is dead?

Don't mind me, I'm over here trying to figure out how moving some tomatoes to a higher shelf changes Ben Affleck into George Clooney...

From all that I've heard, that's apparently the case. There was also an interim version where both Kara and Kal (in the person of Henry Cavill) appeared at the end, along with Keaton and Wonder Woman.

Another thing I'm not real clear on is why there would supposedly be "no Wonder Woman" in the timeline Barry creates. Diana is thousands of years old. Are we to assume that in this timeline Steve & the Germans never end up in Themyscira for some reason? Even so, if Zod's forces took over Earth, the Amazons would presumably have to fight eventually.

Just assume that Barry jumped to someone else's universe. Makes more sense.

...and a bonus that he no longer exists in the regular DCEU universe. ;)

If this was flash point.... Keaton would have been playing Thomas Wayne who survived his son and wife, meanwhile Wonder Woman and Aquaman died on their wedding night, each side blaming the other for betraying their alliance, but I'm fairly sure it was Ocean Master behind that plot.
