I also liked the Corman movie better than the subsequent ones, but then, I also haven't watched in about 20 years.
As for the 2005 version, I thought the review of German comedian Oliver Kalkofe was pretty spot on when he said it was one of the worse comic book adaptation, but among those it was one of the better ones.

Speaking of which, I just watched a featurette on Disney Plus, "Fantastic Four First Steps a special look", that seems to be showing us the first 4 minutes of the movie, and I'll be damned if I didn't spot the '94 Corman cast in their cameo at the 3:58 mark.

Also @The Nth Doctor -- The full Red Blue Carpet is also available on Disney Plus as well, hosted by the same pair that generally hosted the premiers on YouTube.

Oh, why not?

But if you watch the movie, you should also watch the documentary that explains how almost everybody involved with the production was deceived into believing that this was a thing that was actually going to happen.

Good to know but I'll be holding off on that since I'll be seeing the film itself on Saturday!

Wait...only on Disney+? That's so damn weird. Limiting it to the streaming service of the fandom feels redundant and doesn't actually help garner interest. But, as we've already noted in the past, full Red Carpets for the public are becoming a thing of the past. So weird.

That said, I'm off to watch what little they've given us...

I've seen it a couple of times, originally on bootleg VHS copy.
It's bad, but fun in an MST3K way.
I would love to watch the MST3k gang take a crack at that film. :D

How embarrassing. One of the blue carpet interviewers mistook the Corman cast for the Tim Story cast. I imagine someone told them that the original Fantastic Four cast is there and he just made an incorrect assumption.
Coupled by the fact that he also called Ioan Gruffudd the OG Mr. Fantastic, so I guess he doesn't even know about the Corman film.

Aside from that blemish, it was a fun (and surprisingly complete and not a highlight reel!) event. The core cast were fun but the biggest highlights for me were Julia Garner, Natasha Lyonne (who seemingly forgot about What If...? and made a left-field joke about being in Blade...!), and Paul Walter Hauser (who was clearly having the time of his life!). I love that not just Feige was leaning on hard how much this film is "pure Kirby." Gives me even more high hopes for this film.

Lyonne mentioned that she shared scenes with Ebon Moss-Bachrach, which only adds fuel to my suspicion as to who she's playing.
Rachel Rozman who, according to Wikipedia sourced from Variety's review, is (minor spoiler) a teacher and Ben's love interest, so I suspect you're right.
