Spoilers The Falcon and Winter Soldier discussion

I wouldn't call Wandavision a car crash but I did find it very disappointing that it had to end with a big old CGI throwdown against a power-mad villain. Would have much preferred an Agatha that became sympathetic in the end and seeing Wanda have to actually deal with what she'd done.

Similarly I would have liked spending more time back in Louisiana, see the boat launch, and see Bucky actually have the difficult conversation. Because the best stuff about wasn't the muddled Flag Smashers/GCU thing but the Sam/Bucky/Isaiah Bradley plot lines.

But you know, Marvel, so gotta make sure to get the 'splosions quotient.

CHiPs? You mean that Sci-Fi show where American policemen never draw a gun? Sorry, I love suspension of disbelief as much as the next guy, but really, there is a limit!
You don't need guns when Erik Estrada is on the scene. Especially when you have Worf on duty as backup. All taken orders from Kirk's other dad.

Fun fact:

Baricza was the only character to draw his gun on the show. Though they sported holsters, Ponch and Jon were never seen drawing a weapon on the series. Patrol Officer Barry Baricza, on the other hand, wielded a weapon three times.

Agreed.

Not too much of that in this series (thankfully), and I hope Sam an Bucky's end of Marvel stay in the zone they currently occupy.

The Marvel Legends Sam Wilson as Cap figure does not include his wings, instead they are the Build-A-Figure parts spread across the whole line, along with a stand for Sam after put the wings on him, and one Redwing. So according to Io9, if you want the wings for the $22 Sam figure you have to spend $154 on the entire wave of Disney+ show figures.
And not only that, but Sam is the only figure in the wave that does not include part of the wings or the stands.
That is ridiculous, and a major ripoff.

Power Rangers toy makers be like: "NOW you're getting it!"

1990s kids: (Spend $180 in 1990 dollars buying all the parts of Ultrazord)
Power Rangers producers: Oh by the way, they don't use Ultrazord anymore. Now they use Thunderzords. You will of course be needing new toys. (Wide smile)

If you're a Hot Toys collector, you can bet there will be a decked out version coming. Probably in the $200 - $300 range.

I buy the odd figure I like (I have a fetish for Batgirl figurines ;) ) but I've always been disinterested in this collect-all-the-pieces thing. Buy the figure you want, sell the collectible piece on ebay to someone that doesn't want to buy all the show figures. Or be the buyer. You don't have to play the game the way the corps set it up.

Sure, Wanda and Agatha's was like that. But Vision vs Vision had them resolve their conflict using a philosophical debate on identity metaphysics.

How many Comic Book battles end like that?

Or you can spend 30 dollars on the Diamond Select version. It has less articulation though

Cool to know that the Louisiana background for Sam was deliberately written in reflection of Mackie's own Louisiana roots.

Also, it's a little weird that Colbert already has the action figure but Mackie doesn't!

That is because Colbert is the true holder of Captain Americas shield.
