They are plenty relevant. You said that because Hailee Steinfeld was 24 Kate Bishop has to be an adult in Hawkeye, and I was just pointing out that there have been actors that have played teenagers when they were even older than she is.
I thought they were just potential wives, not actual wives.

No, what I said was that Steinfeld was just barely credible as an 18 year old *four years ago*, so obviously even less so now. Other actors looking younger, or older than they are, or not and still playing the roles anyway because: "showbusiness" is besides the point.
And here's the thing: if the character is going to be around for a while, it's best to try and cast as close to the character's age as possible, otherwise you run into the same problem they're already butting up against with Holland straining credibility as he ages twice as fast as the character he playing. See also: the young cast of 'Stranger Things'.
We won't know until someone tells us.
I understand if you don't like the show but it was anything but a car crash. It was a well made series that had a lot of people talking with a strong emotional finish. To say it's a car crash is to conclude it was a failure, nobody liked it, it was poorly made. But it's none of that.
Wandavision has a rating of 92% on Rotten Tomatoes. While it's true that there is no accounting for taste, sometimes perhaps one should phrase his/her opinions as, well, opinions and not some kind of incontrovertible truth.

There's dislike (F. King Daniel's comment about Wandavision), and then there's going overboard. Take the subject of this thread: there are some very pissed off Marvel fans all over social media who cannot stand much of The Falcon / Captain America and the Winter Soldier. They have picked it apart, going on and on performing psychological acrobatics in favor of the Walker character, particularly where his most shocking act is concerned, and most telling of all, reserve most of their criticism for Sam and the Isaiah Bradley story. ....and that's not just a "it could have been written better" criticism, but "why dd this need to be in here?!?" rant.
Attribute it to The Daily Globe. They have a history in the comics of doing worse than Jameson's Bugle operation. Starting with backing Bolivar Trask's first batch of Sentinels...
