"The Ensigns of Command"

Well the only problem I can recall as I haven't seen the episode in many a year is the Dr.Crusher returns in Evolution and is mentioned as having been away for a while and welcomed back I think where as later we see her in Ensigns of Command and nothing is said to her. Now why would they welcome her back after she'd been on the ship and interacted with the crew for a few weeks or whatever it was afterwards?

I would say this. It seems to me like it was a mistake rather than a conscious decision. A couple episodes got transposed, and they didn't care enough to fix it.

Yep but they showed them in the same order the next time and the next time as well!
