Bones: Back to duty status, Fisher. I have no sympathy for clumsiness.

 

[HarryM]

FISHER: No, sir. The hand's much better, sir. (to Kirk, who says nothing. Fisher leaves)

 

[Orac]

Bones: What can I do for you, Jim?

 

[HarryM]

KIRK: (grabbing McCoy by the neck) I said, gimme the brandy!

(McCoy opens the case and evil Kirk leaves with the bottle, saunters along the corridor drinking and winds up at Rand's quarters, which he enters and makes himself at home)

[Kirk's quarters]

(Good Kirk is stretching, he's got a sore neck, the doorchime sounds)

KIRK: Yeah.

 

[Orac]

Spock [OC]: Mister Spock.

 

[Gul Re'jal]

KIRK: Come in. Yes, Mister Spock, what is it?

 

[Athena28]

SPOCK: Is there something I can do for you, Captain?

 

[HarryM]

KIRK: Like what?

 

[Athena28]

SPOCK: Well, Dr. McCoy seemed to think I should check on you. [/FONT]

 

[Enterprise1981]

KIRK: That's nice. Come on, Spock, I know that look. What is it?

 

[Orac]

Spock: Well, our good doctor said that you were acting like a wild man, demanded brandy.

 

[HarryM]

KIRK: (laughs) Our good doctor's been putting you on again.

 

[Orac]

Spock: Hmm. Well, in that case, if you'll excuse the intrusion Captain, I'll get back to my work.

 

[HarryM]

KIRK: I'll tell him you were properly annoyed.

 

[Athena28]

SPOCK: Captain.

 

[Orac]

[Transporter room]

Kirk: What is it, Scotty?

 

[Leandar]

Scotty: Transporter breakdown. Continue circuit testing. We beamed up this animal and, well, look for yourself. It's in this specimen case. (opens lid to reveal angry pink animal)

 

[Orac]

Kirk: Yes?

 

[Gul Re'jal]

SCOTT: A few seconds after they sent this one up through the transporter, that duplicate appeared. Except it's not a duplicate, it's an opposite. Two of the same animal, but different. One gentle, this. One mean and fierce, that. Some kind of savage, ferocious opposite. Captain, we don't dare send Mister Sulu and the landing party up. If this should happen to a man.
