This is the "Fate of Kurn" threadThat has to do with the fact that they made the Jems practically invincible and then forgot about it. I call that sloppy writing.
This is the "Fate of Kurn" thread
In "The Jem Hadar"
Did you just suggest an additional episode with Alexander? There were several inconsistancies between "The Jem Hadar" and later episodes. I am just going to assume the Federation improved all their shields so that the Dominion could no longer beam through them at will, and it somehow didn't rate any on-screen time. It's harder to explain away Eris not recognizing Odo as a Founder at first sight the way all later Vorta and Jem Hadar do.
Oh, Kurn. This thread is about Kurn. They should have put Alexander in this episode too, there should be some sort of reaction there. Perhaps Alexander is horrified at the idea of Worf killing Kurn and Alexander's reaction is what makes Worf stop trying to stab Kurn, rather than Sisko yelling at him.

We never did see Alexander and Kurn interact, did we?

Is Alexander ever mentioned again after the wedding episode?
People often change considerably from who they are as older children and who they are as young adults. Perhaps Alexander felt a "calling in his blood" as a three-quarter Klingon.Alexander wanted nothing to do with the Klingon warrior lifestyle or culture. It was too bad that he embraced that which he despised when he was younger.

I would've liked to see Kurn and Alexander hanging out and learning from each other. Kurn always seemed passionate but also impressionable. Alexander and Worf seemed burned out on each other sometimes, and it might have been nice to have the input of a different family member from time to time.
