    Thanks for that link! Fun little article. I still harbour the fanciful hope that NASA will do something similar after the final shuttle flight. Send an orbiter on a farewell tour before delivering her to her new owners. Since there is little chance I will travel to the US within the next decade, a space shuttle coming to Europe will be my one chance to see one up close.

    Ah, one can dream...

    Stansted's maybe 50 miles away from London, but I remember that happening (though in earlier posts I thought it was Southend airport, a bit to the south, that Enterprise was put on show. Still regret not going, but I was a teenager at the time). :-(
