The corniest film you inexplicably love

If Paxton had actually been in the film it would have been glorious and epic.

He would likely have played the first man to go, given that Joanie Cunningham and Ray Walston were bigger box office draws at that time. Or he could have take Robert Englund's unlikely-survivor part. But should his character fear maggoty worms............nah, not going any further there. Oh, man!

Idea!!!!!

SWAN!!!!!!

Poison!!

Hag!!!

And at least 200 more. Nothing like a little girl on girl. HOHOHOHOHOHOHOH!!!!!

Hahaha!! I forgot about the swan!

I’ve always wondered how they impaled Timothy Dalton on that model (or rather made it look like he was impaled)

Another of my favourites are R.E.D. and R.E.D. 2

“if there is one thing I know it’s women and covert ops.”

Wait for it…

Just about every 60's era Elvis Presley movie. I really enjoy all of them.
"Charro" is a half-decent faux Spaghetti Western and Elvis is actually pretty good as a "man with no name" style outlaw.

Too bad he never got to do more "straight" (non-musical) dramas.

I don’t think TLBA is corny. It’s one of the most quotable scripts of the last 40 years and Willis is superb in it, almost a modern day Bogart, while Wayans has never been better.

I remember thinking for a long time that Bruce was a modern Bogie.

The Last Boyscout is fab. "Nobody likes you, everybody hates you, you're gonna lose."

Police Squad

That's a TV series. Do you mean the Naked Gun movies?

I agree, they are corny. But I don't love them.

They took the character of Frank Drebin and shat all over him. They made him a bumbling idiot, and that's not what he's supposed to be! He's supposed to be a good, decent cop who is the ultimate straight man. Oblivious to the hilarity going on around him, not a part of it!

Driven, the movie Stallone wanted to be about F1 until F1 said 'Nope' so he switched it to Champ Cars.

It's terrible, predictable and cheesy.

What more do you want?
