I guess it's theoretically possible that Obi-Wan & Anakin once had a conversation where they spoke of Anakin passing down his saber to a hypothetical future child.

What seems a little odd to me is that we've never seen a canonical depiction of Anakin constructing his saber, or have we?

One of the old pre-Disney novels had Anakin as a young Padawan at about the halfway point between TPM and AOTC (circa 27 BBY) but I can't remember if the novel had any scene where Anakin constructed his Padawan lightsaber.

Basically his building of the saber he used for the Clone Wars, that continues to exist to the end of the sequel trilogy.

its still crazy that star wars episode 7 8 and 9 make a buttload of money but were still the most controversial star wars movies in star wars history because the sequel trilogy were made by disney and not really by lucus films

I believe episode 9 still flopped though. Mainly due to how expensive it was to make.

Yeah, I can't call the most controversial I'm Star Wars history. The prequels were far more controversial and divisive with vocal fans asking Lucas to sell and the new company to redo the prequels.

And no, it wasn't just Disney. Lucasfilm still ran it without Lucas post sale.
