I guess it's theoretically possible that Obi-Wan & Anakin once had a conversation where they spoke of Anakin passing down his saber to a hypothetical future child.

What seems a little odd to me is that we've never seen a canonical depiction of Anakin constructing his saber, or have we?

One of the old pre-Disney novels had Anakin as a young Padawan at about the halfway point between TPM and AOTC (circa 27 BBY) but I can't remember if the novel had any scene where Anakin constructed his Padawan lightsaber.

I'm thinking of his ROTS saber.

Basically his building of the saber he used for the Clone Wars, that continues to exist to the end of the sequel trilogy.
