Spoilers The Controversial Star Wars Opinion Thread

And? That's supposed to what? Make me happy? That he appeared in Rebels is annoying. That people are demanding him makes him frustrating and will lead to further disappointment down the road.

In my humble opinion. Loose end that needs tying up doesn't make it good.

I'm not looking forward to Thrawn in "Ahsoka". If he does appear in it, I hope he's finally bumped off. I don't like Mary Sues and Gary Stus, but I like villainous versions of these tropes even less.

Good thing he isn't one then.
He has flaws, you see them in his books, and heck look at how many times he lost in Rebels.

His fans always seem to say he's perfect, but he isn't.

I always find it disturbing to see people wish even fictional characters dead. So damn weird.

Don't like how they're written? Fine. But to actively wish them death? Very weird.

They're fictional.

But, as a concession I'll wish he is put in a position to not impact the story.

Poe should have died in The Force Awakens and Finn should have gotten his story arc of becoming a leader in the Resistance.

Finn should have found his force abilities (instead of Rey), and killed Emo-Ren in TFA, so Finn's hero's journey is established with an unexpected victory (see: Kenobi in the eyes of his fellow Jedi & Palpatine in TPM). From there, create a villain that really comes off as dangerous to the universe, because Ren certainly was not that kind of character.

That Anakin was right and the Jedi were evil.

Interesting. I tend to think the Jedi were misguided. Too rigid. Quite arrogant as well. Mace Windu seemed to embody this. Evil definitely belongs to Palpatine playing both sides destroying and killing so many. The Jedi were clueless.

They created their own problem with Anakin and well....we see how that turned out.

Barriss Offee was right. Her methods were wrong but she realized that the Jedi Council was wrongheaded. Should be interesting to see if she shows up in Ahsoka.

Anakin was a moron who deserved the 500-landspeeder pile-up of his life (events of ROTS), which he set into motion, all because he refused to listen to two of the most knowledgeable Jedi arguably in the history of the Jedi Order.

My controversial opinion for today... I think that in many shots, Vader's saber looks more pink rather than red. Especially in The Empire Strikes Back.

The comics interpreted it as well:
