Your post reminds me of the Christmas where everyone in my family gave and/or received a Star Trek mug or tea cup. I got a DS9 mug from my mom, family friends gave me a TNG mug, my mom got a Star Trek tea cup from my sister, and got the same one from her husband, and I bought a Trek Federation mug for my dad.

The only things I have on my wish list are the Marvel 75th Anniversary Omnibus and some Doctor Who pajamas. But I wouldn't say no to Sephora or Michaels gift cards!

I could definitely use a new laptop. My current one can't handle my new 3D animation software. That's not gonna happen, though.
A more realistic expectation is that I'll get the complete DVD set of the 1966 Batman series.
I also have a feeling that I'll get the first season of either Sleepy Hollow or SHIELD.
Nobody knows what books to get me, so I usually get gift cards to B&N and the South Shore Plaza, which I will likely spend on the Creepy and Eerie archive editions, which I have been slowly collecting.
On the practical side, I could use a new pair of black dungarees.

Why do you need a remote for your headphones.They're on your head. It's not like they're not in reach.
I freakin' LOVE Pensey's. They have a store--on the very far side of town--about a 45 minute drive, one way. But I go there once a year, just to go around and smell all the spices and pick up a few of my favorites. The Rocky Mountain Spice blend is AWESOME for chicken wraps and the Tzardust is great for pork and beef.
Oooo....thanks for the suggestions!!! I have not had either of those. I have to rely on care packages here, and then the spice actually making it through customs! Nearest Penzey's is about 7500 miles away!
Try the Lemon-Garlic for fish or chicken, and the Chicago or Mitchell Street rub. There is a Penzey's recipe for pulled pork that, well, let's just say...yeah!!!!
Damn, and the baking spices..but you already know that. Ok, we gotta have a Penzey's Cooking Fest soon!
I have a Penzy's about five miles from me. First one I have ever seen. I have been successfully resisting the urge to go in for 18 months, buying spices from Sprouts instead. Somehow I think that I need to rethink that strategy.
Which reminds me that it's time to go to Hallmark again. I was thinking about it earlier this week and the amount of money I have tied up just in Hallmark ornaments is kinda frightening. I have also slowly been adding other Christmas decorations in the last couple of years and now am close to having enough stuff to deck the whole house out except for the bedrooms.
I love Christmas season.

I have a TARDIS blanket. It's very warm and comfy, and in a month or so it'll be cold enough here to need it (it came in really handy last winter). There's a new design available, and I've been considering getting it the next time Think Geek has a good sale on Doctor Who stuff.
A beaded collar by Betty Stephan. And a trip. I've got a few places in mind, but none of them are going to be happening. Neither is the collar.

Maybe I described it wrong but it's those headphones that had a control thing attached to one of the cords so you can talk hand free on a phone, or pause what you are listening to or adjust the volume. You get it as an included thing with the IPhone and mine got ruined last week.

Somehow I got on the mailing list of The Victorian Trading Company (probably from buying some Victorian/steampunk-themed art on eBay or Etsy). It's all kinds of Victorian-themed stuff, including clothes and accessories such as lace fans and parasols, kitchen stuff, fancy chocolates, knick-knacks, jewelry, and videos of Victorian and Edwardian-themed TV series and movies. There are some very fancy couches and chairs that are available for a mere $4000 (the cheaper ones are a steal at $1500).
There were some really cute hats in the Christmas issue, but unfortunately, I'm allergic to wool.
Most of the stuff in this catalogue is way too expensive for me, but I'm strongly considering a CD of Tudor-era music ($14.95). I've heard other 15th and 16th-century music, and I enjoy it.

Those catalogs and websites depress me. So much cool stuff. So little room in my apartment.
I found the CD on Amazon for a lot cheaper, in Canadian funds, and no worries about sales tax or duty.
There is a lot of neat stuff in that catalogue, but nothing I just have to have.
It's not like the cat-themed art cards I started collecting a couple of years ago... now those are an addiction.
