I got some pretty good gifts this year, all things considered.

• Gift cards (AMC, Regal, Cinemark, Target, Macy's, Starbucks, Peet's Coffee, a sushi gift certificate, Fuddruckers, The Cheesecake Factory) from friends and family
• Mrs. Fields cookies from co-worker
• Dark chocolate mints from co-worker
• A box of candy from a co-worker
• Fresh home-baked pound cakes from co-worker
• Homemade coffee cookies from co-worker
• A plush velvet blanket and a sweater from my sister
• A Uniqlo fleece sweatshirt from my other sister
• Cash from Mom & Dad

And a lot of chocolate, all which I am giving away to my friends so it makes them fat instead of me.

Got some books and Star Wars stuff for my collection, including a really cool 20" Biker Scout figure that's a great display item with a lot of attention to screen detail for the price. I usually get items of clothing for Christmas but this year it was all about the literature, collectibles and playthings. It was glorious.

Got my usual cache of ST goodies, including a pile of books, the four new ST ornaments, but my big score was the noise cancelling Bose headphones. Simply amazing piece of technology.

I got a lot of gift cards, a Giants world champion sweatshirt, headphones, a new electric toothbrush, and some stocking stuffer stuff. It was an enjoyable Christmas.
