"The Cloud Minders"

It's a bit similar to the political situation in the UK! We hate our politicians to the Enth degree and they think of us as a cattle to be used how and whenever! Very similar I'd say!

I'm still waiting for the sequel "Droxine Goes to the Mines."

BTW I think I mentioned this already but Droxine's relationship with her father is touching and well-drawn. It's one of the better third-party relationships ever depicted on TOS.

The cloud city, I'm surprised this isn't being cited as an example of season 3 Trek hitting us over the head with a message. They're up in the sky as a CLASS DIVIDE. An aristocracy benefits from all the work done below, who don't get to reap any of the benefits themselves. The cloud minders are just so much "better", the workers only fit to work and die. It's like a prince's castle moat, or they're the ultimate gated community.

When you visit Stratos, remember to read all of the instructions very carefully!

So it's only OK for everyone else to do it but not me

Yes. You understood my point perfectly.

Public statements by moderators are meant for everyone. Others in this thread have been spoken to previously, and will be held accountable for their behavior.

You’re awfully new here to start arguing with moderators. The correct procedure if you have an issue is to PM the moderator.

Or, you know, just do what I asked and move on.

Either way, do not continue derailing this thread or you’ll receive a formal warning.

The end.

Meanwhile, back on Stratos....I thought that the sets designed by Matt Jefferies for this episode were great, considering that the 3rd season budget was smaller than my monthly paycheck. :wah:
