They should have just had the balls to have the holodeck be off-limits and call it a day.
The thing is, they could have kept the holodeck, and reinforced the issue of energy consumption. It just would have taken a little more effort. I get the feeling that particular script was written on a Friday afternoon, at which point one of the writers looked at the clock, said "fuck it," and added "Holodecks have separate power source."
Really though, what was gained by keeping the holodeck an active storytelling part of Voyager?
I could have done without Spirit Folk, or Fair Haven. The Killing Game too.
...And what was with the dropped holo-storyline of Janeway and the two kids from Village of the Damned?
Actually, I just finished watching Fair Haven and rather liked it. It all comes down to the Doctor, wearing a priest's robe and collar, and riding a bicycle. Also, his threats to those who don't attend Mass.
Picardo is rarely a disappointment.
He's one of the things that got me excited about Voyager before it started.
I like Fair Haven immensely. Yes I know that this is wrong.
Janeway's photonic MAN, YES!!
I would have loved a really creepy Holodeck Horror Story.
After seeing how Voyager raped this cloud right at the beginning, I'm not sure how Kes felt safe in the slightest turning into a cloud right in front of Voyager.
Ransom would have sucked everything out of Kes the Cloud and turned it into a pretty pink dress.
I'd hope that from a cloud that big you could even stitch up a pink dress large enough for Equinox itself to wear.
Noah Lessing is on Greys Anatomy.
Tonight he's playing a Homeland Security Agent who is trying to get past Meredith Grey to interrogate a suspected terrorist... She's afraid that Noah is going to torture this dude just because he's a little Arab looking.
Rick's found his fricking niche.
Except I didn't say little so that must be the Kes factor making stuff pixie like by association.
I have never watched Grey's Anatomy. The person who begged me to watch it also begged me to watch Downton Abby so I'm not exactly in a hurry to catch up on a decade of the thing.
I've watched 6 seasons of Greys Anatomy in the last 2 months.
A few days of binging really, where I took weeks long breaks inbetween each binge.
I tried watching Donton Abbey.
10 minutes and I flaked.
There's at least 5 people more rude than the EMH on Greys and they're all constantly ####ing at least 3 people they shouldn't.
Arcs that last half a season overlapping with 5 other arc's that also last half a season, and ramifications that ripple outwards for seasons still.
Season 11 starts in 20 days.
Shondra Rhymes Produces this show.
She also produces Scandal which has been going for 3 years, and a 4th is starting soon.
This seems daunting.
In three weeks, Shondra's third show is starting.
You can buy into it on the ground floor.
How to get away with Murder
If you like that, work your way backwards to Greys through Scandal.
If you don't like it, never mind.
That looks good because it is students not actual lawyers. Also whoever that is on the cover with the rust leather jacket looks hot.
I know everyone loves Grey's Anatomy and I do like medical (and don't like law, much, or and this is the worst, mysteries).
Trying to power finish (HAHAHA) Angel.
