Edith: That's very strange. You get some rest. I'll see you later. (Later, Edith, Kirk and Spock leave the Mission together, then Spock heads off alone. Kirk and Edith dodge traffic to cross the street.) If we hurry, maybe we can catch the Clark Gable movie at the Orpheum.

 

[LeadHead]

Kirk: What?

 

[Leandar]

Edith: You know, Dr. McCoy said the very same thing...

 

[LeadHead]

Kirk: McCoy! Leonard McCoy?!

 

[Ziz]

Edith: Yes. He's in the Mission. He's...

 

[LeadHead]

Kirk: Wait right here. SPOCK! Stay right there!

 

[Leandar]

Spock: What is it?

 

[JanewayRulz!]

KIRK: McCoy! He's in


(McCoy comes out and they greet each other enthusiastically. A truck is coming down the street as Edith starts to cross, not looking.)

 

[Leandar]

Spock: No, Jim!

 

[LeadHead]

Kirk: Edith.

 

[Ziz]

(McCoy dashes forward but Kirk grabs him and pulls him back onto the pavement just as Edith and the truck meet in in a squeal of brakes.)
McCoy: You deliberately stopped me, Jim. I could have saved her. Do you know what you just did?

 

[Leandar]

Spock: He knows, Doctor. He knows.

(Kirk leans against a wall, about to break down into tears..)

 

[LeadHead]

Back at the Guardian Planet, Kirk and Spock Jump out of the Guardian Portal

Scotty: What happened Sir? You only left a moment ago.

 

[JanewayRulz!]

(McCoy returns.)

SPOCK: We were successful.

 

[Leandar]

Guardian: Time has resumed it's shape. All is as it once was. Many such journeys are possible. Let me be your gateway.

 

[Enterprise1981]

UHURA: Captain, the Enterprise is up there. They're asking if we want to beam up.

 

[LeadHead]

Kirk: Lets get the hell out of here.

 

[Leandar]
