I've Just Got Done Reading It. The Novel By Christopher L. Bennet. Has Anyone Else Read it? I Enjoyed it.

I have read it, and I think it's one of the best treklit novels ever produced. I'm sure there are plenty of others around here who feel somewhat the same :techman:

Great book. A few years ago I was in a bookshop in Edinburgh and recommended it to someone browsing the Trek section. Only time I recommended a book to a stranger.

I read it and quite enjoyed it. The combination of huge amounts of Picard/TNG backstory with ancient history and a lot of sci-fi was great!

I concur, a great book. Hopefully were going to learn more about the Manraloth in the future, that was a quite fascinating concept.

it's one of my favorite tng books and so far the only lost era book I've read. all so love the fact picard use proper military terms for federation starship in calling the galaxie class vessels capital ships.

Phenomenal book; the book responsible for getting me back into TrekLit after years and years away.

It's so good at crafting meaningful character arcs for Picard and even a few other TNG crew members that it even makes the weirdness of first season of TNG suddenly seem like a legitimate story.

Phenomenal book.

No, other than the fact that Christopher uses the Stargazer crew from the series, they're pretty much unconnected. I haven't read a single Stargazer novel, and I had no problem with it.

Excellent book. And the introduction of the soon to be Enterprise crew members was done very well.
