The Borg vs The Voth

If nothing else, accidents happen. Sooner or later the Borg will come across Voth individuals or technology, and it seems possible if not likely that things will snowball from there.

I'd be more interested in a confrontation between the borg and the dominion. I mean how do you implant technology in a being that can shapeshift as well as becoming a liquid? The implants would keep dropping on the floor.

I'm not certain the Borg couldn't assimilate the Founders. We don't know whether the Borg capacity for assimilation is limited to 'solid' humanoids only or not. After all, they also took some technology from species 259 (which would usually mean they assimilated some of them), in Galactic Cluster 3, which is described as 'a transmaterial energy plane intersecting twenty two billion omnicordial lifeforms'. Don't know how to picture that exactly (and I doubt the writers did), but it sounds far more outlandish than the Founders.

Then again, this could have just been the Borg version of bragging
