The Book Of Boba Fett

Looks interesting. I feel they are holding back the real goods of the show. But hey, we're all in anyway.
 
I don't know why but I've always liked the B'Omarr monks (those spider droids).

I wish an episode (or three...) would drop in time for X-mas.

Robert Rodriguez is directing the 1st ep. so it should be starting out with a bang. Like a thermal detonator.
 
Is it weird that my favourite part in all that was the Ithorian mob boss? (Which I guess might be Dok-Ondar, but we'll see...)

Not sure I liked how the spider-droid moved. A little too light on it's feet and skittery to my eyes. I always kinda pictured them being a little more slow and deliberate about getting around. Partly because it's a big lump of metal with a very vulnerable brain jar hanging off the front, but also because, well...they're monks, no?
 
Peaked my interest enough, so successful trailer?

Whom am I kidding, I've been waiting for this since I saw the post credits scene. Bring it on! :techman:

IIRC the one in RotJ was done as a marionette. It basically just hung there while it's legs moved up and down, and didn't actually move all that fast for it's size because the puppeteers up in the rigging had to be able to keep pace with it.
 
Well, I'll be willing to give it a shot. Boba Fett is one of the least interesting characters for me in Star Wars, save for occasional one shots in short stories. However, the more practical side of trying to run a business has a certain interesting idea to it. Perhaps it comes from my long standing fascination with organized crime but at least it's not "Oh, Boba Fett is a badass and kicks all the ass." He's more measured in this, which I like.

I should also add that I much prefer his black undersuit under his armor to the washed out green/gray from ESB/ROTJ. It' still Mandalorian armor (:barf2:) but it's a different look to the character.
