The Book Of Boba Fett

To me, Boba Fett became more interesting in the last few episodes of the Mandalorian than he ever was in the previous forty years.

Kor

I have to agree. Much more to Fett than I realized.

Filoni is a God.

Despite being a child of the 80's, I've never seen Flashdance either, so this bit of casting news is sailing right over my head. I have seen a few other things she's been in, but no so I particularly remember her.

It's a fun little mini-doc. Probably mostly just to get the non-hardcore fans up to speed on the character's real world history ahead of the show.

I like that in the talking head sections, Dave Filloni is wearing a BoBF crew hoodie that just says "set decoration" under the logo.

I enjoyed it - especially the section with footage of Jeremy Bulloch (and his wife).

Though I was surprised there was not a single mention at all of Jason Wingreen (the original and distinctive voice of Boba Fett in the Original Trilogy; or rather in the Empire Strikes Back). A somewhat unbelievable oversight on the part of Lucasfilm, for a doc 'exploring the history of the legendary bounty hunter'.

You left out the best part, the title text: "The real challenge is how to file Boba Fett's biography of Doris Kearns Goodwin"

Am I crazy, or is the garage where Slave 1 is parked the exact same one featured in Star Wars: Battlefront's Out Rim expansion? It looks like they literally redressed the actual in-game asset!
I mean smart move since if there's already a design that works, makes sense, has already been built, and is suited for purpose; why not use it?!

Also, am I even crazier, or was Morrison's line delivery for "I Am Boba Fett" deliberately inflected to sound . . . very familiar?

There was a different teaser released today as well.
