Next you'll tell me they stated the Diane Carroll character who sang in said holiday special was one of the Power Converters at Tashi station. Not in canon, though Ackmena the bartender played by Bea Arthur is now canon thanks to a Disney Era book.

Cool.I kinda' liked the Boba Fett cartoon...
No.It's also the only thing from the Holiday Special that you can legally watch now (unless you own a legit copy of the Holiday Special, do those exist?)

Warning for flaming. Comments to PMWhat's the point of arguing with unsophisticated rubes?
https://comicbook.com/starwars/news...p-reveals-magic-behind-banthas-in-new-series/Just out of curiosity, anyone know if they're using elephants for the live action Banthas or are they just animatronic/puppets now?
Four guys in a Bantha? ... Band name..

He didn't as such. He was largely a figurehead and basically fear of the Hutts would keep people in line.I wonder how much lawless Mos Espa is supposed to be. I mean, there is a mayor and it seems there were some bureaucratic activities in his office, still I haven't still seen any police force or similar, so how is he supposed to exercise his power, legal or otherwise?
You thoughts?
OK thanks. I thought there probably weren't any real elephants involved, but they did use a combination of real horses and CGI for the Orbachs in Rise of Skywalker, and I think other movies with CGI creatures like that have used horses as standins, so I thought they could have done the same thing with elephants here.Christopher said:Hmm, I figured it would be a mix of animatronic and CGI. Animal rights have advanced since the '70s, so there's no way it would've been a live elephant.
Since he's planning on riding it, I'd say it's closer to someone starting to gentle a new horse.I never expected them to bring in a pet Rancor and have Boba Fett bond with it like a kid with a new puppy.
That's who they were, I thought they seemed familiar. Some other cool guest stars too. Stephen Root (arrghh, I wish there were only one way to spell Stephen/Steven so I wouldn't have to look it up every damn time) did a really fun job as the water merchant. And Phil LaMarr did the voice of the Pyke boss, though I didn't realize it until I saw the credits.
This was my favorite episode yet.
The cyborg gang is a nice new addition to the cast, although a small part of me is tiny bit disappointed they didn't pull a Killjoy and bring in actors with disabilities to play them.
I was shocked to see Danny Trejo pop up at first, but then I remembered this was directed by Rober Rodriguez.
Loved the stuff with the Rancor, definitely looking forward to seeing more of it. It was nice to see the gentler side of them for once.
I was a little disappointed they killed the Tuskans already, I thought there was a pretty good chance they'd end up being wiped out, but I was hoping we'd get to spend more time with them first.
I wonder how much Boba's history with the Pykes will come into play in the modern day story?
