I just purchased and watched the black panther animated series. I did enjoy it as it was true to the first six books in Hudlins run on the book. The animation at times was sloppy and it played more like a motion comic. The things added felt natural most of the time. While I am still pissed this series didn't air here in the states I can see why it didn't. BET the network I can't stand anyway has givin me another reason to dislike it.
I thought they assembled a very good voice cast but it almost seemed like they didn't blend well at times. They had a chance to go bug and bring a prominate black superhero to the screen in an adult way and blew it. While I liked static shock and loved loved the character of John Stewart in justice league I would have loved to see the first relatively well known black hero get his props.
Oh well. Has anyone else seen this mini? What where your thoughts on it?
