This thread is for new comers to the show on repeats on TBS starting from the pilot. and disscussing season 5 which begins on the 09/22/11. on of my favorite comidies.

Why would you have a thread welcoming new comers to the show for the TBS re-runs...and season five as well. That makes no sense entirely.

How does it not make sense? When a show is in reruns it tends to pick up brand new viewers...who then go on to watch the current season as it airs.

TBS is pretty good in showing show in the right order when it comes to reruns. and, when we start talking about season 5 use the spoiler ablity.

They said she was going back to India. It's entirely possible she has already gone if they skip a few months before the new season. If they pick up where they left (Which seems more plausible, considering the final scenes), she must at least have a few episodes left. After than, we can celebrate.

Strangely enough, TBBT reruns are on two different channels at two different times here in Chicago. One started with the pilot and the other with the season 3 premiere.

Looking forward to the one hour season 5 premiere on Thursday!

Same in our market. I happened to catch an episode and I don't remember what season it was from but I think it was several episodes in, so that station at least, doesn't appear to be showing them in order.

well tbs start stright from the begining and wow a lot changes went through the guys for 3 season. and a lot of that was due to penny.

I watched the first few episodes on TBS last night as well, and although the guys didn't seem that different to me, the way Penny is played was totally different! She was much more a typical sitcom blonde ditz back then. I'm glad that she has morphed into a more realistic character with her own personality now.

Also, I was surprised by how early Penny and Leonard kissed, I remembered it seeming to take forever when I watched it the first time! And I thought that Sara Gilbert's storyline happened in the second season, not the first for some reason.
