"The Best of Both Worlds" Line-by-Line

Data and Worf beam into empty Borg Corridor, Both Draw their Phasers and proceed toward their objective. They come around a corner and see Picard with 2 Borg nearby him. Data notices a Borg on his right. Data Fires and takes him out. Worf sees one on his left and similarly dispatches him. Data and Worf each take out a Borg Drone near Picard. Worf Runs up To Picard, and the two struggle. Another drone approaches behind Data, who turns and blasts him.


Worf: Data!

 

[Vanyel]

Data is able to render Picard unconscious and they all beam to the shuttle.

Worf: Mission accomplished, we have him.

 

[LeadHead]

Data: Firing Shuttle Thrusters.

 

[Vanyel]

Battle Bridge.
Wesley: They're clear of the Borg field Sir.

 

[LeadHead]

Riker: Beam them out of there, Mister O'Brien.

 

[Vanyel]

Transporter Room:
O'Brien: Locked on. (The Borg destroy the shuttle) Transport successful Sir.

 

[LeadHead]

Main Bridge

Shelby: Captain, we've sustained Damage to the Impulse Drive.

Battle Bridge

Shelby: (over comm) The Saucer Section is disabled.

 

[Vanyel]

Battle Bridge.
Gleason: Reading subspace field fluctuations from the Borg Ship. Looks like they're getting ready to increase power.

 

[LeadHead]

Riker: Stand by, Mister La Forge.

 

[Vanyel]

LaForge (Over Com): Aye Sir.

 

[LeadHead]

Wesley: The Saucer Section's a sitting duck!

 

[Vanyel]

Riker: Prepare to draw their fire.

 

[LeadHead]

Wesley: Captain, the Borg ship is moving away. It's resumed its course toward Earth Sir.

 

[Vanyel]

Riker: Rendezvous with the saucer section. Lay in a course of pursuit.

 

[LeadHead]

Sickbay:

Crusher: There's extensive infiltration of microcircuit fibers into the surrounding tissue. His DNA is being re-written!

 

[Vanyel]

Riker: Can you revive him?

 

[LeadHead]

Crusher: I'd like more time to study the structural changes in the motor pathways.

 

[Vanyel]

Riker: We don't have more time Doctor. Once he was wired into the Borg they knew everything that he knew. I just hope it goes both ways. If we're lucky, he had access to everything we need to know about them especially their vulnerabilities.

 

[LeadHead]

Crusher uses Hypospray on Picard who begins to awaken
