"The Best of Both Worlds" Line-by-Line

[Vanyel]

Riker: Fire up the engines. Half impulse until we clear the nebula, then punch it up to warp 9.

 

[LeadHead]

Picard: Ready Phasers, load Forward Torpedo Bays. Engage!

 

[Vanyel]

Worf: Borg tractor beam is attempting to lock on.

 

[LeadHead]

Picard: Fire at will, continue rotating shield frequency.

 

[Vanyel]

Worf: Shields failing. Tractor beam has locked on.

 

[LeadHead]

Borg Drone beams into Bridge, Worf Pulls a phaser and shoots the Borg, which it hit and falls. Another Borg beams in, Worf fires, but its shield blocks the phaser shot. Worf fires again, unsuccessfully.

Riker: It's no use, they've already adapted to the new frequencies.

 

[Vanyel]

Riker then Worf attack the drone, both are overpowered. Picard heads to join the fight but is captured by a drone and transported off the ship.
Worf: The Borg ship is disengaging, leaving at warp speed.

 

[LeadHead]

Riker: Maintain pursuit.

 

[Vanyel]

Worf: Borg vessel has reached warp 9…9.4…9.6.

 

[LeadHead]

Riker: Stay with em. Riker to O'Brien, can you get a fix on the Captain?

 

[Vanyel]

O'Brien over the com: Negative, Sir. There's some sort of interference. I can't lock on to his signal.

 

[LeadHead]

Riker: Senior Officers report to The Bridge.

 

[Vanyel]

Worf: Sir, the course they have set, they are on a direct course to sector 0-0-1. The Terran system.

 

[LeadHead]

Riker: Earth.

 

[Vanyel]

On the Borg Cube.
Borg: Captain Jean-Luc Picard, you lead the strongest ship of the Federation fleet. You speak for your people.

 

[LeadHead]

Picard: I have nothing to say to you, and I will resist you to my last ounce of strength!

 

[Vanyel]

Borg: Strength is irrelevant. Resistance is futile. We wish to improve ourselves. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Your culture will adapt to service ours.

 

[LeadHead]

Picard: Impossible, my culture is based on freedom and self-determination.

 

[Vanyel]

Borg: Freedom is irrelevant. Self determination is irrelevant. You must comply.
