The Ballad of G.I. Joe

That was soooo frakking funny! Julianne Moore, Alexis Biedel and Olivia Wilde... they sure knew how to bring the pretty into that!

Is it just me or did Julianne Moore make a pretty damn good Scarlett? And Olivia Wilde as Baroness...

I loved this. Julianne Moore is one of my favourite actresses, and I liked the costumes in this way better than those in the movie. People may think they are corny, but Cobra Commander's outfit in this is ten times cooler than his lame masks in the movie!

I do agree that his chrome costume was pretty cool, and one reason I actually liked the idea of Cobra-La in the animated movie, if perhaps not the execution. It is quite funny how accurate the costumes are.

Olivia Wilde looked great as The Baroness:)

The Dreadnoks looked right as I recall. I've only seen Zach Galifiankis in Tru Calling, but recognized him in this.

There are some things that simply shouldn't exist. Don't get me wrong, this is cool, but what on Earth compels such things into existence?

Don't question it, just accept it. On the Robau scale of awesome I'd say this rates a 10 or 11.

12 if they showed more Scarlett and Baroness

Speaking of the Robau scale..how about a thumbs up to Vinnie Jones for making Destro playing the clarinet look so badass.

Yeah that was downright cool and that final "BOOYAH!" he gave the camera was freakin' priceless! Although Olivia Wilde made the clarinet even sexier... rrrow...

I have to admit, Billy Crudup did pretty accurate looking Zartan... maybe they should have cast him instead of the guy they picked.

Honestly, the whole original costumes really weren't too 'out there'. Cobra Commander IS supposed to a kinda flamboyant character... not a dude with a jell-o mold for a face. And Destro... well okay the old costume WAS pretty goofy... but Vinnie Jones made it Robau badass.

Just goes to show. Bald. Is. Badass.

'nuff said

That was a good movie. I always wondered what they got up to when they weren't doing their thing.

Thanks to the OP for bringing this to my attention. That was funny.

Your welcome..funny how a 3min parody is more true to the heart and fun of the original cartoon compared to the 2hr multi-million dollar CGI orgy fest that just came out.
