Hera's natural accent came out when ever she started arguing with her father. I actually think it was more a matter of her "hiding" it because she was so self-conscious about it due to the stereotypes and stigma surrounding Lekku ladies.
It's never really been established why Hera's accent changed. It could just be the normal result of going out into the galaxy, or a deliberate effort to hide her Ryloth heritage (Twi'leks are after all, found all over the galaxy just like humans) either to make it easier for her as a rebel agent, or specifically to distance herself from her father.
All that said, accents in Star Wars are weird and don't make much sense when you think about it.
By rights, all the Jedi (those with human-like vocal chords, anyway) should all have roughly the same accent. Yet they're a surprisingly diverse bunch given they've mostly been raised in the same temple from infanthood. Similarly, there really isn't a good reason why any clone that isn't Boba should have an Kiwi accent, and yet, they all do. Even Omega.

Cool episode this week. Though standalone, it was fun to see Cid directly involved in the action.

Yup, my thoughts exactly. More Rhea Perlman is always a plus and I love how Cid gets away with pushing them around.

Does also fit with how a decent part of the show is being used for the world building of the galaxy's transition from The Republic to The Empire.
Really loved this episode. I seem to prefer the ones where the focus is on the Batch themselves rather than any guest stars.
Sid is amazing, and the Batch themselves are getting more and more endearing.
Roland seemed a bit bland and forgettable but I'm sure we'll be seeing him again.

Pretty much. I wouldn't be shocked if Crimson Dawn and/or Enfys Nest's mum shows up at some point either.

Halfway expect Roland to wind up being the Devaronian from the cantina aka Labria....or his brother ;-)

I apparently never shared my thoughts on last week's episode, which I really enjoyed.
It was fun seeing Hera team up with the Bad Batch.
It was obvious they were setting up Howser to turn on the Empire, but I wasn't sure how far he would be able to go. I wonder if this means that it is possible for chipped clones to turn against the Empire?
I loved Chopper back in Rebels, and he was great here too.
As for Crosshair, I have a feeling that even if they remove his chip he's still going to be loyal to the Empire. Even before the Empire screwed around with his chip, he was starting to side with them, so that makes it pretty likely that he'd be loyal all on his own.

Yeah, with the way they left things with Roland I could definitely see him popping back up. The Pykes also have a bit of grudge against them now, so if the Batch get drawn into more underworld shenanigan's I could definitely see them showing up.
I’m sure they’ll run into Roland’s crime boss mother at some point.
