Spoilers The Bad Batch - Season 1 Discussion [cue A-Team theme music]

Fun episode! The Batch on an infiltrate and extract mission into Imperial territory needing to assist a former Separatist which caused conflicting feelings among the Batch. And we got a subplot about Omega staying behind with Cid which had some really amusing banter between them ("how much money are you getting out of this?" "Not enough!") before Omega proves an aptitude for holographic chess and quickly becomes a champion at it, earning enough to pay the Batch's debts to Cid.

And I did not realize until I saw his name in the credits that Alexander Siddig was the senator.
Now they're stunning other Clones? Why weren't they doing that before?
I suspect this time around the decision to stun the Clones was necessitated by the need to be stealthy, since the stun beam makes less noise than the regular one. Once they were exposed, maybe they just didn't bother switching since it was the heat of the moment the stun beam incapacitates anyway, which is the goal they needed.

I noticed their blasters still fire blue bolts. Probably don’t get the red bolts until the Stormtroopers arrive

They're still using Clone Wars era rifles. Once they switch to new Imperial models they'll probably be red.

Good episode, but honestly they could gave ran faster than that Walker..
Catch a passing speeder like Mace Windu!

Could easily make a Thrawn Trilogy in Mando times. Few changes. Ashoka as luke, ezra as cboth

There is still the thinking that Omega might be Force sensitive and that Palpatine will plunder Kaminoan tech to build his base on Exogol and begin his secret cloning experiments.

The Sith Citadel and the destroyer fleet were shown as already in place sometime between eps 5 & 6 (Vader comic).

When you need books, comics, smoke signals to explane ur movie.. Ur movie sucked.. RoS

Pretty sure there were kaminoians at Exegol doing the papy clones. The fails were trying to house his esense and it degraded.

Several upcoming episode titles have been revealed. The titles for episodes 15 and 16 have been withheld.

The titles that got my attention the most were the titles for episodes 12 and 14.

Episode 12 is titled "Rescue on Ryloth", and it makes me wonder if it will have an appearance from Cham and Hera Syndulla (and Chopper!!).

Episode 14 is titled "War Mantle", and I think that this bodes ill for the remaining clone troops who still serve the Empire as this was the name of the project intended to replace the clones with the conscripted troops.

That would be quite a small-universe syndrome. especially after Hunter let Kanan go free in the first episode...

I wasn't aware of the context behind 14, but 12 definitely caught my attention. I wouldn't mind if what you talk about in the spoiler happens.

The last episode was pretty good. It was interesting seeing the Bad Batch work have to help a Separatist, and it was nice to get to see a bit more of Cid.
I wonder if the Batch will be moving on now that Omega paid off heir debt to Cid?

Late to this one, but it was another fun adventure. Initially, I was a bit put off about Omega being sidelined (even if Hunter had good reason to), but I loved how, after a bit of moping, she turned it around not just in her favor, but also in the Bad Batch's. I'm continuously loving the growing relationship between Omega and Hunter and the final scene was a wonderful moment between them.

As a huge Alexander Siddig fan, I'm terribly embarrassed that I didn't recognize him as Senator Avi Singh. I hope he returns because I always want more Alexander Siddig.

And Alexander Siddig as the senator? Yet another actor making the leap from Star Trek to Star Wars. I like it. Sid now has Star Trek, Game of Thrones and Star Wars under his belt. A genuine genre trifecta.
He also has done several Big Finish Doctor Who audio plays. That's even bigger get in my book (obviously).

I've literally been saying exactly that for years! Ever since Tennant's announced departure.
