Spoilers The Bad Batch - Season 1 Discussion [cue A-Team theme music]

I seem to recall cloning a force user to be force sensitive was difficult, but not impossible. Most would go mad for some reason.

I do recall that Yoda said the each of the Fett based clones felt different in the Force. Each was unique in the Force. So it may come down to a mix of genetics and luck/will of the Force, on if a clone is force sensitive or not.

So, his spirit had midichlorians? I mean, its a fictional universe with a mystical force controlling everything, so sure, why not?

That flies in the face of Lucas' idea in the PT that midichloreans were microscopic life forms inside the body that actually generated the Force.

To say nothing of the fact the novelization also claims Snoke was another Palpatine clone, and he definitely could use the Force, but was definitely not inhabited by Palpatine's spirit.

I've seen Snoke described as a Palpatine meat puppet, implying he really was not a distinct person but a vessel for Palpatine to control.

Generate the Force? I don't recall that being the intention. The Force is generated by all living things and the midiclorians are a way for the Force to communicate to life forms.

The more you have the more you can hear, and also the more you can "talk back"/use the Force. However all living things have midiclorians in Star Wars. All things are connected to the Force. Even clones.

So, then, is a Force spirit a living "thing?" Does it have anything tangible like cells or midiclorians?

I missed a lot in this topic, so if this was asked before....

But the bodies in the tanks at the planet Cad Bane took Omega to..... Did I miss something there? Were they Kaminoan clones? Or just dead Kaminoans being studied??

Well per the concept art, they're a few different species, but at least one of them seems to be Kaminoan

Ah, ok. Thanks for that. When I was watching, I had some light coming in even through the blinds, very sunny day. Couldn't always make out every detail during the episode.

They were evocative of Snoke, but that just might be because of the big head and gangly limbs.

Another good episode. I love what they're doing with Echo. He still remains at heart a loyal and true Republic Soldier, wanting to do what is good and noble and not compromise on his values. The problem is he no longer lives in the same galaxy that he was born in. There is no more Republic and there are no more separatists, they both lost to the Empire.

And Alexander Siddig as the senator? Yet another actor making the leap from Star Trek to Star Wars. I like it. Sid now has Star Trek, Game of Thrones and Star Wars under his belt. A genuine genre trifecta.

That was probably my least favorite episode but it was still pretty good. I wish we had gotten more than a few lines from Echo. But I liked what went in with his character in this.

Rhea Perlman as Cid just cracks me up.

I go back and forth between liking and being meh on this show. This was an episode I liked. I liked that they finally decided that it was too dangerous to take Omega with them.

That's a sucky Idea. But there wasn't anywhere to go once they killed him off.

What if the clone they are making in 'The Mandalorian' isn't for Snoke or Palpatine but for Luke!? They use Luke's hand to clone an evil version of him which is played by Sebastian Stan and Ahsoka has to fight him.

(I'm currently drinking Whiskey)
You mean Luuke?

Sitting firmly on a C+ idea right there.

Honestly, with Snoke I basically expected a Palpatine style resurrection. So, either way, I thought a malevolent spirit would come back to be bad news for the heroes.
