Thinking about the situation in the UK with cricket (not) on free-to-air TV makes me think of the Packer debacle. In the end, money always talks (mine usually says goodbye) and the free channels just didn't have the dosh. I think the ECB missed something significant: without cricket on TV, young people won't be inspired to try the sport so in 15 years time we'll have no-one who can bat or bowl. Oh, wait...
