The Apprentice US question

I know this is probably going back quite a bit for you now.

But I'm watching season two of the US Apprentice. And I plan to watch the other seasons. So please NO SPOILERS!

But anyway, I'm up to episode 8 and there seems to be really odd stuff going on in the board room. It seems to be that Trump is being dubbed on later in many parts when the camera is focusing on the contestants.

Am I crazy? Did anyone else notice this?

If you watch the end credits they say that portions of the show not affecting the outcome may be edited in post production. We usually see on the show boardrooms that are (at most) no more than ten to fifteen minutes. In interviews contestants have said that the average boardroom takes hours - unless Donald has to go somewhere then they may be done in a few minutes.

I remember this. I suspect it was to succinct the hours-long boardroom sessions into more managable TV time.

Has season two come out on DVD? Where is it available?

^ It hasn't been - well at least not that I know of.

Anyway (about the Board Rooms) they just showed additional scenes of one on Gene Simmon's Family Jewels since he was on Apprentice last season. In it there are scenes in the board room that weren't shown on television.

Is it in syndication on television then? Or do you just happen to have a recording?

If you check out the website, they have all sorts of clips that were cut out of the boardroom, usually. Not sure about that many seasons back, though. They just work the whole thing out, and then cut it down in editing to make it "exciting" and fast paced. Kinda like any reality show, really...

I obtained season two through nefarious ways a while back. I want to watch all of the seasons, so may buy them from somewhere. Again nefarious ways.

It's a poor business decision, in the long run, to try and prevent people from doing that. For instance, I didn't watch House when it first came out. Caught a rerun towards the end of season two, and then decided to catch up quickly. If I would have had to pay for them, I still wouldn't watch, but as it is, I watched every new episode released after that. Same with How I Met your Mother...

I love the UK apprentice but when i saw the US one on one of the cables channels i could not get in to it.
I can't really explane why maybe it was his hair all that money and the guy can't get a decent hairdresser.
