Do Mermaids count?

In case, not, here's a man and his croc.

I keep thinking of that bear-hugging guy. He thought bears loved him, would never hurt him. He got eaten. One day this croc is gonna bite that guy's head off.

I was kind hoping to keep this to real animals.

There are a couple horses in the backyard of a house in the newer area I've added to my bike ride and I'm mildly concerned about what kind of care they're getting. One is a geldin or stallion, and he's in a pen in the open in the middle of the yard, with just a fairly narrow bit of aluminon over the top of the pen, that really wouldn't provide much protection from wind or rain or that kind of bad weather, and is barely wide enough to give him enough shade. The second horse is a mare, and she's right by the fence, and when I see her, her face is always covered in flies, but I've never seen her with a fly mask on. The mare is pretty friendly, she's actually come close enough for me to pet her through the fence a couple times. In terms of their overall condition they look pretty good though, so they aren't being totally neglected or anything.
I have to admit, I've almost been a little tempted to try to see if there's a way to figure out what size they would need, and then buy a couple of fly masks, and leave them by the house's front door, with a note to please put them on the horses.

Very cool, I wish I had one, but the risk of escaping into a non-indigenous environment exists. Should be taken to shelter for return to natural habitat, imo.

Polar bear knows to spread out its weight on thin ice.
