I love how their walking in almost perfect unison.
Some sad and disturbing news coming out of my home state the last few days.
As of earlier today, the count is 14 dead with 10 missing and presumed dead, there are also a few that are wounded but still alive. Nobody has any idea who did this or why.
The picture for the video, which is in the story too, was of a 2 year old gelding (or colt, I'm not sure what the cut off is there) with part of his face shot off, with a couple of foals. The foals' mothers were nowhere around, so they're being counted among the dead, since that's pretty much the only way they would not be with foals that young.

A quick update on the Alpine Wild Horse shootings, they are now at 15 dead, 4 injured but alive, 3 orphans, and at least 20 missing.
The palomino I posted about still has the foals with her, it turns out it's a mare not a stallion (I accidently said gelding last night, but they're completely wild so there's no way they would be a gelding). The Salt River Wild Horse Management group would like to save them, but they won't let people get close enough for them to get to them.
One thing that's a little frustrating about this, is it doesn't look like any police, or the Forest Service, who's in charge of the Alpine horses, are doing much about this. It's all the volunteer groups that are out checking on the horses, they got a hold of the TV news to report about it, most of the updates appear to be coming from them, and they're the ones offering the reward for information on who's responsible.

A quick update on the Alpine wild horse shootings, they are now up to 25 dead and 30 missing. In the post announcing the new count at the Arizona Wild Horses page on Instagram, they said that this was a professional planned operation with at least 2 shooters and a driver. They also said that they could have possibly killed as many as half of horses. Every band as dead and missing horses, and some only have a few or even one left.
I hope it's OK if I say this, if not I'll delete it, but they have set up a Go Fund Me to try to get more money to raise the current 25K reward for information.

I haven't had any problems with crashing while trying to load images... but I'm not on a tablet, so I'm not sure how helpful that is.
My understanding of the rule is that the poster is not supposed to link to it... which you haven't. I have never heard anyone claim that it is against the rules simply mentioning that a fundraiser *exists*. I have no issues with what you have written.
