So since my last post about coyotes, we've seen 2 on our walks, one in another neighborhood with a lake we go to, and one in our neighborhood. I also had another funny horse moment on my Saturday bike ride, but if you guys are getting tired of those stories, I won't tell it.
I was looking through the thread, and this post reminded me of something.
We saw two Coyotes on our walk this morning, they crossed the street in front of us, and then ran past us on the other side of the street. So apparently we jinxed ourselves with all of our talk about how we haven't seen any Coyotes in a long time.
Oh, and we actually ran into some horseback riders, they weren't any of the people I know, while we were walking the dogs at the park today, and they were very good. Tucker just stood and watched while they went past, and Gracie just gave them a quick glance over her shoulder, and then went back to whatever she was sniffing.

A lot of people online are encouraging everyone to donate to a local animal shelter/rescue on Monday in honor of what would have been Betty White's 100th birthday. My mom and I were already talking possibly donating to one in town, and they even do tours for people who donate, so there's a chance we might get to go hang out with some pigs, goats, horses, ect. I'll take and post some pics if we do.

I feel kind of bad, I think I spooked a horse while I was out on my bike ride this morning. :scream:
We both came past the opposite sides a wall at the exact same time, and the horse spooked as when I saw them. Luckily, the rider managed to get it back under control pretty quickly. I had no idea they were coming, so there was nothing I could do, but I still feel bad.

Awwwww I’m sure the horse was okay. That’s sweet that you were worried.

So after months, I finally got up the guts to ask if I could go over and pet some of the horses at the stable I stop by on my bike rides, and.... I asked the wrong person.
I usually stop twice, once when I first get to that part of town, and then again on my way home, and there was a blond girl who was out riding on my first, and then was in with the horses on my second. The horses she was with are right by where I stop and seem friendly, a lot of the times they come right up to the fence when they see me.
So when the girl was getting in her car, I asked if they were her horses, and she just said either "No, they're not" or "they're not mine", and then just kind of stared at me. She wasn't really rude, but it still seemed to me like she was annoyed that I was asking, so at point I just turned and walked away.
I'm starting to think she might be part of a family that rides there, because I've seen 3 - 5 different women who all have the same blond hair, the same body type, and at least 2 or 3 of whom all ride those same horses. I still might try one of the other blonds that I've seen riding them, if I see her again.
